TP Kingswood Wooden Climbing Frame Donated to African School
Pupils at Aladdin’s School in Cape Town were on an all time high after receiving a TP Kingswood Climbing Frame kindly donated by TP.
The Aladdin School is run by an amazing lady called Luci and her helper Liz who's from Kenya. The children at the school are aged between 18 months and 5 years and are all from local area.
We heard about the school’s plight from John Lewis who are one of TP’s major stockists, they were over in Cape Town taking pictures of TP products for their new brochure and asked if we would donate the Kingswood Climbing Frame they had photographed to the school, we of course said yes as we were delighted to help such a worth while cause.
The School is run with minimal funding and Luci told us that they were unable to enroll as many children as they would like due to their limited resources. We hope that by donating this great addition to their playground it will provide opportunities for the children to take part in daily physical exercise which will help them to become happy and healthy and all the more ready for learning when in the classroom.
Many thanks to Colin Shields, James Garvie and Liam Garvie from Cape Town Production who kindly offered their services in assembling the product at the school playground.
