Welcome to our help centre! You should find answers to all the most common questions, and we are here to help with any other queries you may have!

  • What safety tests do TP products pass?

TP products are intended for family domestic use only. They comply with the European Standards of Toy Safety including EN71, Parts 1 , 2 , 3 and 8. Please note they are not tested for use in public settings where different safety testing standards apply to reflect far more intensive use.

  • If the item I purchase is too big for my garden, can I return it?

Yes. You can request to return an item online within 7 days of receipt as long as it  has not been assembled, is in the original packaging and in  resaleable condition. You may arrange for the delivery back to us yourself or contact us on 01525 722723 and we will advise the charge for this depending on the product purchased. .You are responsible for the package until it has been signed for at our warehouse, in which case we suggest obtaining trackable insured postage.

The returns address is Robovision t/a TP Toys, 11 Enterprise Way, Flitwick, Bedford MK45 5BX . It is your responsibility to ensure that your items are packaged adequately to protect against damage. Please note that if you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, we will charge you a reasonable sum for the reduction in value the goods have incurred. If you have assembled a product it cannot be returned unless found to be faulty.

Help choosing
your product

  • How do I make sure I'm getting good value for money? Trampolines look similar but can be very different prices

    Trampoline Frame

Is the frame made from heavy duty galvanised steel? That makes it suitable for all year round use. Ask the weight of the trampoline in its box. its a good guide to the strength of the frame. Generally the heavier, the better

    Trampoline Springs

The better the spring, the better the bounce. Simply ask how many, how long and how strong? The low cost springs used in cheaper trampolines lose their memory especially if used by adults. A trampoline spring that will not spring back to its original shape is soon a disappointment and of little value.

    Trampoline Mat

The mat is should be soft and smooth to touch to ensure it doesn’t hurt your child’s skin. Ask how the springs attach to the mat. A D ring system of attachment, rather than hooking the spring directly into the material, will greatly extend the life of the mat.

  • Why are all the full sized trampolines recommended for ages 6 years +

Children younger than 6 years are at greatest risk of injury because they're not sufficiently physically developed to control their bouncing. All our large trampolines are suitable for children aged 6 years +. We recommend purchasing the Early Fun Trampoline for little bouncers!

  • What can I do about my squeaky springs?

While a little squeaking is to be expected with your trampoline, we can advise that applying WD40 or petroleum jelly to the springs will help reduce the noise. We recommend to wear heavy duty gloves when applying this for safety purposes.

  • Is the size of the trampoline advertised (8ft, 10ft etc) the footprint or mat dimensions?

The size specified is the size of the trampoline frame. So, the 10ft Genius Round Trampoline will have a 10ft footprint. The mat will be smaller than 10ft.

If you are measuring for the 10ft Octagonal, the footprint will be bigger as the feet stick out from the frame.

Please see our footprint images, available on each product, to help you measure your garden.

*We also recommend a 2 metre clearance around the product for health and safety.

  • You see a lot about weight limits on trampolines. How important are these?

Weight limits are important because they indicate the strength and durability of the trampoline. Responsible manufacturers will always err on the side of caution with trampoline weight recommendations. For example, an athletic 60kg teenager will pose a greater challenge to the robustness of a trampoline than a sedate 80kg adult. Quite simply, the greater the height achieved by the bouncer, the greater the loading on the springs. It is worth investing in a trampoline with a weight limit well in excess of your current needs. TP Trampoline have high single user weights, but for safety reasons please only allow one user at a time.

  • Can weight limits apply to the combined weight of two people jumping on the trampoline?

As for whether the weight limit can refer to more than one user, clearly it could, but we very strongly advise against multiple person use on the grounds of trampoline safety. Multiple person use is the most common cause of accidents on trampolines. It can result in collisions or falls due to the bounce of one trampolinist destabilising another, especially where there is a significant weight difference between the jumpers.

Evidence from published international studies indicates multiple person use of any large trampoline, whatever the shape, size or make, is potentially dangerous. As a responsible manufacturer we think it is important to highlight important trampoline safety guidelines that you should follow if you purchase a large trampoline. Using a trampoline without due regard to them can result in serious accidents.

  • Is my trampoline frame guaranteed against wind damage?

The trampolines are not guaranteed against wind damage, it is advisable that in strong winds or very exposed areas that you may wish to purchase a set of Ground Stakes. These will help the keep your trampolines frame in place however in very extreme weather it may be advisable to take the trampoline down, as strong winds can potentially lift trampolines and throw them about.

  • What does rust causing failure mean?

The guarantee covers failure due to rust which is defined as a perforation or breakage of the steel tubing. Nuts, bolts and fittings are not covered by this guarantee. The guarantee is not a cover against surface rust for which maintenance instructions are included with the product. We advise that should surface rust appear it should be rubbed down with coarse sandpaper or wire wool and retouched with a non toxic galvanised paint suitable for outdoor use.

Help to build

  • Help! I have a swing but how do I concrete the stakes?

In order to concrete your stakes into the ground, you will require a small hole dug near where the foot of the frame is. The ground pegs should be vertically at an angle of 45°, this would place the stake slightly behind the upright frame leg. The aperture is then dug behind the leg, so that the actual leg is still on firm ground.

The concrete mix can be dry or slightly damp. Both mixes will set due to the reaction of the weather and ground moisture.

  • My springs are squeaky. Can I do anything to reduce the noise?

While a little squeaking is to be expected with your trampoline, we can advise that applying WD40 or petroleum jelly to the springs will help reduce the noise. We recommend to wear heavy duty gloves when applying this for safety purposes.
