Product Details

A beautiful compact wooden climbing frame with single swing and slide. Featuring a single swing arm complete with the Rapide swing seat and 1.8m slide. Kids can climb up the play tower using the ladder or integral climbing wall and escape fast down the Fireman’s pole or slide. The under-platform area is shaded and ideal for sandpit fun. Made from sustainable FSC certified wood .

  • The Castlewood Tower is supplied complete with an all wood step ladder and integral climbing wall
  • The play platform is spacious and accessed by either ladder or wall.
  • The shady area under the platform has bench seats, an ideal sandpit.
  • The fireman's pole makes for fun, speedy exits.
  • The 1.8m Apple Green Wavy Slide is included with the set as is the Castlewood Single Swing Arm complete with Rapide Swing Seat.
  • The Rapide Swing Seat has a soft feel but super strong webbing instead of rope. Webbing is ideal for small hands to hold and makes adjusting the seat height very quick and easy.
  • The Castlewood Tower is made from kiln dried, pressure treated pre-drilled wood, for ease of assembly and maintenance
  • You can apply a water based stain to the Castlewood each year if you wish to for aesthetic reasons, but it is Not necessary to apply a surface stain to maintain Castlewood's excellent rot resistant properties and its performance guarantee.

Ingenious! … (too ingenious?)

"I love a challenge and unless you’re a professional carpenter then this is certainly that. The instructions are vague at best and say 3 hours…ha! 3 days and counting here and I recon we’re about a third of the way through building it but that aside it looks awesome! The natural timber is beautiful and has already weathered a few storms successfully. I’ve been up on the platform enjoying the view and sitting underneath in the sheltered den too. It’s a lovely piece of kit that fits in our teeny tiny garden thanks to the ingenious rounded castle turret design. My only concern now is how we could ever take it with us if we moved house because this is never coming apart again!"

Well engineered but poor customer service & packing

"The product is very well engineered and individual components are very well manufactured. However, where the entire system falls down is the Bill of materials, packaging of small parts (fasteners) and customer service. There were fasteners that were correct to description but incorrect part numbers which meant that they needed to be double checked for length, thread type etc. The whole product was shipped with 2 less penny washers than needed, meaning a trip to hardware store was needed, not much of an issue but inexcusable to be shortchanged 2 washers for a £700 product. Finally, the wrong swing was delivered to me which was too difficult for my child turning 3 to use. Customer service didnt even bother getting back to me, which meant her birthday gift was not fit for purpose. They let me down and i let my daughter down, something i will never forgive this company for. Wonderful product but pathetic customer service. Deducted 4 stars for this. Would NOT recommend"
