About Pikler Play

Pikler triangle sets were developed based on the principles of the ever-popular Montessori learning method. What age is a Pikler climbing frame suitable for?

It depends on the development of your child but the sets can be suitable for children as young as 6 months and as old as 4 or 5. Just check weight limits to make sure it is suitable for your little one.

Is the Pikler safe?

Piklers are intended to encourage independent, active play. That being said, accidents can of course, happen so never leave your child unsupervised in their play environment. To stimulate their development, be nearby but allow them to climb independently.

What are your Pikler climbing frames made from?

All of our sets are made from eco-friendly, FSC-certified wood that is pressure-treated for longevity. We leave the Birch plywood unpainted as we believe this offers a beautiful, simple aesthetic. The naturally antimicrobial wood also offers clean, safe fun.

Can we use the set outdoors?

Yes, our range is suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. Just don’t leave it outside long-term!
