Christmas came early for lucky 3-year-old, Rowan Reedman who had a pirate-themed winter wonderland created in his garden thanks to a competition from chocolate experts, Kinder.
Our TP Pirate Galleon playhouse was used to create the scene in Rowan's garden. The pirate ship looked fantastic, accompanied with snow, real pirates, treasure and a real-life parrot!
The event was made possible thanks to a Facebook competition which asked parents ‘what their children would like to see this Christmas’. Scroll to the bottom to watch the magical video!
Rowan’s mother, Louise Ahrens Reedman said: “Rowan can often be found dressing up as a pirate or drawing treasure maps, so I knew this winter themed pirate experience would thrill him. Fulfilling his Christmas wish to meet real pirates was a tall order for us, but Kinder has done an incredible job in making our little boy’s Christmas dream come true and we are so happy that he has received this magical experience.”
A Kinder spokesperson said: “We love hearing all about our fans and their children’s creative imaginations. This competition was perfect to get families up and down the country thinking about what would make Christmas extra magical this year and we are delighted to be able to have made Rowan’s wish come true.”
Rowan’s Christmas dreams came true with his festive pirate wonderland. As an added bonus, the Pirate playhouse was given to him afterwards so he and his friends can enjoy the magic for years to come!
