This treatment will protect against wood rot and warping but does Not guarantee the product will be 100% waterproof. The tongue and groove construction of this product means there may be small gaps that change slightly due to atmospheric conditions.

"My little girl is absolutely over the moon with her new playhouse. She loves the mud kitchen and spends hours playing with it. The playhouse was easy to build, my husband and I took between 1-1. 5 hours to complete. We added shutters and post box to finish it off."

The house itself needed treating and it would have been helpful if they used treated timber as this really prolonged the building up of the house . we felted the roof ourselves . "Great little playhouse which looks very sweet. This is on me, but somehow I missed the call out that the wood was all untreated. I do find this an unusual choice for a product more or less designed to be outside, and it involved a lot of time painting etc. Also the tongue and groove walls, base & roof are all 9mm, which makes fixing anything to them a bit precarious & low strength. A few extra wood supports can solve that. I had to reinforce the floor as it was flexing under an adults weight, and my 2yo daughter likes to invite visitors in! All in all a great place for my daughter to play, and it looks great on the patio too."
