FAQs

Absolutely. All TP Toys mud kitchens are rigorously tested and meet UK and European Toy Safety Standards (EN71). They are made with smooth, rounded edges, non-toxic finishes, and sturdy timber construction. Our kitchens are designed with child-safe water play in mind and are suitable for children aged 3 years and older, with adult supervision recommended during play.

All TP Toys mud kitchens are made from FSC® certified treated timber, which is built to last outdoors. While they’re designed to withstand the British weather, we recommend placing them in a sheltered area and using a waterproof cover during extreme weather to extend their life. They can be used indoors during Winter as well.

TP Toys mud kitchens come with a selection of play utensils and accessories included such as pots, pans and mixing equipment. Every model is designed to provide instant play value straight out of the box, with no need to buy extras unless you’d like to personalise with more tools or garden props.

Arrived really quickly. And my

"Arrived really quickly. And my granddaughter absolutely loved the Mud Kitchen. Played with it for the rest of day once it was constructed. And the construction was as a doddle too. The quality is fantastic also"

— Mark E. (5/5)

Delivery

"We paid extra for delivery on a certain day. DHL stated they would deliver between 4.11 and 5.11 pm. They didn’t ring the doorbell to let us know and the package was just left on the doorstep at lunchtime, fortunately it wasn’t stolen. We are not impressed with DHL."

— Penelope M. (5/5)

Don't buy the tap

"The tap is dreadful and despite troubleshooting with AI chatbots we couldn't get it to work properly. Too much force required for a toddler to operate it. The drop style/gravity taps on other kitchens are a much better option. Kitchen is solid, stable and the wood looks like it will last. Hooks would have been better for hanging the pots and pans, only short screws were provided, but does the job"

— Natasha R. (4/5)

Love this kitchen

"With the summer holiday here both my children absolutely love this kitchen. My daughter is autistic and she’s been asking for a muddy kitchen and we made the perfect choice. So so happy honestly!"

— Shannon-lee F. (5/5)

"Loved everything apart from the reason we bought it - the water dispenser. Very difficult for a toddler to operate and hardly any warer comes out. Disappointimg and could have purchased a similar item much cheaper without the water dispenser."

— Andrea (3/5)
